About Ozzie
Ozzie is a human-in-the-loop AI sales-call assistant. A person kicks off every call and stays on the line; Ozzie does the talking — opening, qualifying, handling objections, and booking the meeting — and always discloses that it’s an AI.
Why we built it
Ozzie started as a tool our founder built for himself. As a veteran data engineer launching a consulting practice, he faced a wall: the work depended on sales calls, and social anxiety made those calls inaccessible. So he built a robot to make the call — with him in control. It worked well enough that the tool became the company.
The principle
We think the future of outbound isn’t autonomous robots dialing strangers. It’s people — including people who can’t or don’t want to cold-call — staying in charge while an honest, capable assistant carries the conversation. Speed-to-lead and patience at scale, without pretending to be human.
Who’s behind it
Ozzie is a product of Gray’s Autonomy. We’re small, we dogfood relentlessly (Ozzie sells Ozzie), and we’d love to hear what you’re building. Say hello.
